A clear phone photo is usually perfect. Try to take the photo directly above the writing in good lighting so the handwriting is easy to read.

Almost anything works! Many customers send photos of:

• Birthday cards
  
• Letters
  
• Shopping lists
  
• Handwritten recipes

Please don’t worry if your handwriting sample is shaky, messy, includes spelling mistakes, is slightly illegible, written in another language, from a child, fading with age, or includes little doodled hearts or symbols. I can work with most samples that are sent!

No problem at all! If you don’t have the exact message you’d like stitched, I can also create a new message for you using one or more handwriting samples, e.g. a shopping list and/or birthday cards.
